Early this morning an article from Kombo written by Matt Furtado stated that they received an email from an unknown publisher which we would like to know from whom. Although it's concerning the upcoming Kojima project, A new patch that will feature Raiden in an upcoming downloadable content update that will take control of Raiden through a total of 2 new chapters or more in the near future.
Kombo also stated that trophies are finally be making a debut and speaking of debut. It looks like the XBOX 360 will be experiencing Metal Gear Solid early as spring 2010. The 360 version will come packed with the downloadable content. Kombo also stated that PS3 owners will have it exclusive for several months before the 360 title is released.
Here at Game Of Honor; as much as we love rumors, we would rather get the truth instead of false information. Were all gamers at heart so I for one speaks for everyone when I say "Enough Of The Rumors". It's not a bad effort from Kombo to create such hits to achieve on there site. But Kombo had nothing to back up there sources. We love what we do; get the truth.
So we contacted our friends at Kojima Productions on this matter and there reaction toward it.

I don't think I've ever seen a developer so adamant about telling 'no' to everyone. Why can't people accept that MGS4 will not come to the 360? It's no big deal really. The 360 has plenty of really good games.

some MGS4 singleplayer DLC would be a huge annoucement IMO. Seems like others don't think so....dunno why. MGS4 was awesome and they are still supporting the MP with updates and DLC (I don't play it tho). Some singleplayer Raiden action would be awesome. And since they already released Raiden in MP with all his special moves and such I could see it happening.

Whats sorta frustrating is how kojima never comments on trophies, If i remember correctly he went on record as saying "trophies would be a usefull addition to the ps3" right before it launched.
I got about 3/4 through the game and decided to wait for the trophy patch but it never came, every time i think of going back to it a new rumour starts.

Obviously you have no idea how this journalism thing works. If they would have said they contacted Konami, it would have been more believable. First, it isn't as if Koji Pro just has a listed phone number you can just dial. Second, the article was posted at 12PM PST, which would have been close to 9PM in Japan on Friday, when no one would have been working. Third, Koji Pro wouldn't just confirm or deny rumors, they would forward the message to Konami. Publishers handle the majority of PR work.
But w/e, obviously just looking for hits, judging from there 3:45 post.

STOP DREAMING...METAL GEAR SOLID 4 NOT ON 3FIXME.
The xbox can handle whatever the ps3 can do. Time and time again developer interviews have revealed that the 360 is equivalent in power to the ps3. Sony royally screwed their system when they decided to make a gpu the main processing unit. The biggest difference is the choice of blue ray for storage. It allows uncompressed audio, which is mostly what MGS4's size is comprised of. If the audio track was changed and compressed, it could be done for the 360 with maybe 2 discs. Sony fanboys don't like to speak of the install times before every act that are necessary for MGS4 or of the amount of time spent watching cutscenes. This is in addition to the less than stellar story. I've never been a huge fan of MG games, but I wouldn't be surprised if Kojima announced a MG game exclusive to the 360. Now wouldn't that be a smack in the face? MG 5 Raiden only on 360, lol. I can hear the howls of dismay already.
As for the rest of the Sony lineup this year, really I haven't been convinced yet that they have anything decent besides God of War 3. Heavy Rain looks like a QTE cutscene fest. Infamous is ok but I think that Prototype looks more fun. Uncharted 2, meh, Uncharted had a crap story and the graphics are equivalent to Killzone. The gameplay didn't amaze me when I watched the video released by the devs. MAG is going to suck, what's the sense of self worth when you are 1 out of 200+ people in a battle? Plus a single crappy ping would ruin that entire experience for 200+ people.
There is always the ICO team too so I'll give Sony 2 games at E3 that look desirable thus far.
Microsoft has kept mum so who the hell knows what they have up their sleeves.

I'm writing for a German Gaming-Website. We are not really big, but we are still suported by all the publishers by games that they send us for testing purposes. BUT: Even a decent website like the one I work for does NOT stand a chance to simply "contact our friends at Kojima Poductions" to get some infos that no other site on the net has.
